South Norfolk MP Richard Bacon has opened the new conservatory and decking area at the Cedar House Nursing Home in Yelverton, near Norwich.

Mr Bacon said: “It was a pleasure to be invited to visit Cedar House and I was delighted to formally open the new conservatory”.

“The conservatory and the splendid new decking area are a great addition to Cedar House.  Residents can now enjoy the garden  all year round”.

Cedar House is a former Victorian rectory dating from the 1800s.  The nursing home provides care for up to 25 people over the age of 65 and is part of the Caring Homes group.

Residents and staff are already making good use of the new conservatory, and have turned their attention to raising money to buy a new minibus for the home.
