There are an estimated six million carers in Britain today, many of whom do not recognise themselves as carers and are not aware of the support on offer.
A wide range of carer support organisations were represented at the Roadshow. These included Norwich & District Carers Forum, Norfolk Carers Agency Partnership and Crossroads.
Mr Bacon said: “Carers make a valuable contribution to our society and there are many of them in South Norfolk. I urge carers to make sure they get all the support they can by contacting any of these organisations which are all keen to help”.
